How can we help?

The Healthcare Services team helps eligible members who have Hospital cover access support services and programs to improve their wellbeing and manage health conditions*.

We can provide and co-ordinate support if you have a chronic condition or an upcoming hospital admission. We also help people manage their weight and other risk factors, and co-ordinate mental health support.

Please note enquiry forms are only checked during business hours. In the case of an emergency, please call triple zero (000). If you're unwell and need non-emergency assistance, contact your GP or call healthdirect on 1800 022 222 to speak to a nurse (day or night).

Unfortunately, the New Families Program provided by Healthcare Services is only available to members with Hospital cover that includes pregnancy and birth related services.

For parenting info and support, there are free resources (including online and phone support) at Pregnancy, Birth & Baby as well as helpful websites and apps on our website.

If you'd like to be covered for pregnancy and birth related services, you could consider upgrading your cover to Top Hospital (Gold), Mid Hospital (Basic Plus) or Basic Hospital (Basic Plus) (not Mid Classic or Starterpak). Just be aware you'll need to serve the nine-month wait before you can claim. If you have any questions, please call us on 1300 344 000.

Unfortunately, programs provided by Healthcare Services are only available to members with Hospital cover.
