Nurses & Midwives Health members with Extras cover can get up to two fully covered preventative dental check-ups* each calendar year from dental providers in our network. This includes, of course, Health Centres.
To see what other dental services you're covered for check your Extras Product Sheet. Then log on to Online Member Services and go to Claims and Benefit > Benefit Usage to see how much of any relevant annual limits you have left. You can also check your usage through our app.

*The number of free dental check-ups you receive depends on your level of cover (Top Extras, Mid Extras, StarterPak get 2 per year; Basic Extras get 1 per year). These check-ups cover scale, clean and fluoride treatment services only. This offer is also subject to your remaining limits.
Non-network providers
You can claim for services included on your cover through non-network providers too. We'll pay for services from qualified and registered providers in a private practice. Luckily most providers meet this description, but if you're not sure you can ask them if they're a "recognised provider" with Nurses & Midwives Health.
