Health Centre Opens in Wollongong

Nurses & Midwives Health members in the Illawarra will now benefit from state-of-the-art eyecare and dental services on their doorstep, following the opening of Teachers Health Centre in Wollongong.

Located in the heart of Wollongong at 1 Lowden Square, the Health Centre officially opened its doors earlier this month.

With over 16,000 members* in the region, Wollongong was chosen as the location of the Fund's newest Health Centre, providing local members with access to high quality eyecare and dental services with exclusive offers and discounts. **

Teachers Health Centre in Wollongong joins five other locations across New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia.

Brad Joyce, CEO of Teachers Health Group, says, “We've invested in Wollongong because it's home to one of our largest membership bases in the state. It's our way of giving back to our loyal members in the region, providing extra value for their membership with us."

"Our aim is to support the health and wellbeing of our members. As a not-for-profit health fund, our focus is on giving more back to our members, and our Health Centres are just one way we do this."

In good news for the wider community, everyone is welcome to access services at our Health Centre, even if they're not a member or a member with another fund.

For health and safety reasons, Teachers Health Centres are operating by appointment only. Telehealth consultations are available to all eligible members. For more information, please visit website.
