How to prepay

Paying for your health insurance ahead of a premium increase can be a great way to save in the long term!

How do I calculate my prepay amount?
Here are the steps:
Use the Online Member Services premium calculator to check how much to pay up to a given date, or how far a given dollar amount will take you.
Here’s how:
- Log in
- Go to Payments
- Click Premium calculator
- Either Calculate amount or Calculate date
- Click Calculate.
How can I prepay?
You can pay by credit card or BPAY via Online Member Services and at our Member Care Counters. Here’s how:
- Log in
- Go to Payments
Credit card
- Select Pay by credit card
- Enter Payment amount
- Select Card type
- Enter Card number
- Enter Card name
- Enter Card security code
- Enter Card expiry date (by selecting the date and month)
- Accept Credit card declaration
- Click Submit.
BPAY
- Select Pay by BPAY.

Payments can also be made at our Surry Hills or Parramatta Health Centres up to 4.45pm on 29 September 2023.
What is the prepay deadline?
It depends on how you usually pay your premiums – here are the key dates:
Direct debit
You’ll need to make your one-off payment at least a week before your next scheduled direct debit.
If your next scheduled direct debit is on or after 29 September we need to receive your one-off payment by 26 September (8pm). How to make a payment
Once your payment has gone through, future direct debits will be paused until you reach your new paid-to date.
Credit card or BPAY
If you pay by either of these methods, please make your payment by:
How can I check when I’m paid up to?
Around three business days after prepaying, you check your paid-to date via Online Member Services:
- Log in
- Go to My membership
- Click Cover details
- See Paid-to date.
